📆 4-Day Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco – Capuliyoc – Chiquisca – Santa Rosa
Day 2: Santa Rosa – Marampata – Choquequirao (exploration)
Day 3: Choquequirao – Marampata – Playa Rosalina – Chiquisca
Day 4: Chiquisca – Capuliyoc – Cusco.

Day 1: Cusco – Cachora – Capuliyoc – Playa Rosalina

  • Early departure from Cusco to Cachora (2,900 m).
  • Trek begins towards Capuliyoc (2,850 m), with stunning views of the Apurímac canyon.
  • Steep descent to Playa Rosalina (1,550 m).
  • Overnight at the campsite.

Day 2: Playa Rosalina – Marampata – Choquequirao

  • Challenging ascent to Marampata (2,850 m).
  • Hike to the campsite near Choquequirao (3,050 m).
  • Afternoon to explore part of the archaeological site.

Day 3: Choquequirao – Marampata – Playa Rosalina

  • Early departure from Cusco to Cachora (2,900 m).
  • Trek begins towards Capuliyoc (2,850 m), with stunning views of the Apurímac canyon.
  • Steep descent to Playa Rosalina (1,550 m).
  • Overnight at the campsite.

Day 4: Playa Rosalina – Capuliyoc – Cachora – Cusco

  • Final ascent to Capuliyoc.
  • Trek back to Cachora, then transport to Cusco.

Original passport – expiration date no less than 7 months
★ Valid Student ID card (if student booking)
★ Good quality walking boots or shoes
★ Good quality sleeping bag for cold temperatures
★ Trekking poles – can be rented at agency
★ Sandals for down time (very important)
★ Baselayers of varying temperatures, especially for the night
★ Thermals, gloves, scarves, wooly hat
★ Good quality trekking socks to avoid blisters
★ Raincoat or long poncho (for rainy season)
★ Waterproof trousers (for rainy season)
